Waterford is awash with fun-filled water-sports and Adventure activities for the young and the young-at-heart. Dunmore East Adventure Centre for surfing, canoeing, sailing, archery and rock climbing.
Waterford Museum of Treasures
Recently voted Irish Museum of the year. At the Granary, the Museum of Treasures is both a treasury and treasure trail that takes you through 1000 years of history of Irelands oldest city.

The treasure trail and personal sound guide allow you to encounter the past at your own pace, to stoop and marvel at the rare and beautiful artefacts and to explore them in depth through a series of interactive and audiovisual presentations. More than a museum, Waterford Treasures boasts a Bridgestone-award winning restaurant, along with a spacious giftshop and the main Tourist Office onsite.
Christ Church Cathedral

Christ Church Cathedral has been at the heart of Waterford City since the 10th Century when the Vikings built the first church on the site. The restored and refurbished cathedral is a magnificent 18th Century building designed by John Roberts. The building is steeped in the heritage and history of Waterford with medieval tombs, memorial wall plaques, and beautiful stucco plasterwork ceiling, and is home to the famous Elliott Jones organ. A regular programme of concerts and recitals takes place at the cathedral through out the year. Gift shop and café are available at the Cathedral.

Waterford City Walking Tours
The walking tours of Waterford operate from mid-March to mid-October and feature a walking tour of one hour duration that includes two cathedrals, four national monuments and a gallery of rogues and rascals, delivered in a witty, entertaining style by Jack Burtchaell.

Reginald's Tower
The oldest urban civic building in the country, dating from the 12th century, it was here that Strongbow met Aoife, whose subsequent marriage was to change the course of Irish History. It was used as a mint, a prison and a military store and now houses an exhibition.

The Copper Coast Unesco European Geopark
Discover the ancient story behind the formation of the rock, cliffs and inlets of this spectacular coastline. It is a place rich in mining heritage, geology and archaeology and home to the National Nature Reserve Fenor Bog.
Lismore Heritage Centre
The story of Lismore, dating from 636 AD, is told in a multi-lingual, audiovisual presentation. Exhibition galleries include a room dedjicated to the life and works of Scientist Robert Boyle.
Mount Congreve Gardens
These exquisite gardens are situated only a short distance from Ashleigh B&B. A beautiful eighty acre garden consisting of extensively planted woodland, 2000 different rhodendrons, magnolia walks, a Camellia collection and a Georgian green house.
